This is bigger than a university competition.
The Education Ambassador Movement brings together volunteers, interns, students, professionals, community leaders, influencers and
supporters who want to help create educational opportunities for vulnerable children and students in South Africa.
Our wider ambition is to raise:
€500,000 FOR EDUCATION
We are beginning by building a European network, with an initial focus on:

There are different ways to participate.
🚀 BUILD THE MOVEMENT
European Directors, Country Leaders, City Leaders and specialist volunteers help build and coordinate the campaign.
🤝 SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT
Interns and volunteers help with communications, social media, research, events, administration, university outreach, corporate outreach and Ambassador support.
🎓 COMPETE
University students and university teams can take part in the 5 × 5 University Education Challenge.

Anyone can take the simple 5 × 5 challenge and help open doors through their personal network.
The University Challenge is part of the movement — it is not the movement itself.

Not everyone needs to become an Education Ambassador.
We also need people who can help build, organise and support the movement itself.
🇪🇺 EUROPEAN DIRECTOR
The European Director is a founding leadership role, helping establish and coordinate the European campaign.
The role includes:
Recruiting Country Leaders
Building the European leadership network
Developing university and community partnerships
Coordinating the 90-day campaign
Supporting Ambassador recruitment
Identifying corporate and major-donor opportunities
Monitoring progress
Motivating volunteers
Reporting to Isidima
This is not simply a fundraising position.
It is an opportunity to help build an international social-impact movement.

🚀 THE FIRST 30 DAYS
We want to build the foundations before trying to recruit thousands of Ambassadors.
DAYS 1–7
Recruit the European Director and begin identifying Country Leaders.
DAYS 8–14
Build the Belgium, Netherlands and Germany leadership teams.
DAYS 15–21
Identify City Leaders, University Captains and interns.
DAYS 22–30
Begin recruiting the first wave of Education Ambassadors.
Then the 5 × 5 networks begin to grow.
